So it’s Christmas once again. Bah Humbug!
I know what you’re thinking. Why would she even write those words and on let alone on Christmas?
I write today because sometimes we need to step back and take a different way of looking at things.
Most of us are fortunate this year. A warm home to live in, food on the table, presents were under the tree, family and loved ones gather around. Least we forget about those that are having real life struggles.
No income, no way to finish paying their rent, no presents under the tree, little food to eat, and yet they still smile because they are thankful for what they do have.
Yes it’s Christmas once again. Time to celebrate a change in the seasons, the birth of Jesus Christ (which I have yet to find the original documentation to confirm this actual date) and family.
Making memories with the children, grandchildren, family and friends. This year December 25, 2015 has been our (myself and my husband’s ) most challenging Christmas in thiry three years of marriage.
Although I didn’t get anything of material value but what I did get was another Christmas to see the smiles on the faces of my Grandchildren while they opened there gifts.
I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas!
