To follow someone or something is defined as:

★ to go or come after or behind (someone or something)

★ to go after or behind (someone) secretly and watch to find out what happens

★ to come after (something) in time or place or as part of a something

Following ■■

We all follow something.  A belief in God, a higher power, other peoples blog sites, social media accounts, a mentor the list goes on.

There are quite a few apps out now that you can download to gain “instant” followers for your social media accounts.   I really looked over the Instagram app and I was about to download it, then I stopped and thought to myself; ” I don’t radomly follow other people’s accounts so why would I  want 300, 400, 500+ people followong following me at random”? 

Something To Ponder ●¤■

Think about what and whom you’re following on social media?
Do you follow the trends?  Are you just followingother following other people in social media just because you “downloaded ” an application that your friend told you about?

Are you selective in what and whom you’re following?  I choose who I want to follow and I follow them either because they share a same value, opinion, belief system or business that I am in. 

I would rather have others follow my social sites because they see a value in something that I write about than just following me because of an application that programs it for them.
