Let Freedom Ring

America, The United States of America, The USA are all names for this great country I live in.

The United States has been in it’s share of confrontations within itself and others.

In 1775 America went to war against Great Britian to keep her freedom.  Thus the American Revolutionary War began.

As General George Washington led his troops through freezing rains,  wind and snow he never gave up and never quit!  By the ending of the war he was more feared and respected then any other war icon of his time.
The American Civil War took place in 1861 thru 1865.  It was a war between the Northern and Southern regions.

Many more times Americans would find themselves caught up in fighting for either their ways of life or the common good of man kind.

Millions and millions of brave men and women have given their lives to keep the bells of freedom ringing in America.

Throughout history so many lives have been lost, the ground soiled red with the blood of men who heeded the call for freedom.

Memorial Day

Memorial Day marks a time of remembrance honoring those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Something you may not know.

The National Moment of Remembrance encourages all Americans to pause wherever they are at 3 p.m. local time on Memorial Day for a minute of silence to remember and honor those who have died in service to the nation. As Moment of Remembrance founder Carmella LaSpada states: “It’s a way we can all help put the memorial back in Memorial Day.”

Please take a moment on Memorial Day at 3:00 pm no matter what time zone you’re in to be silent.

Thank you to those that have given their lives to Let Freedom Ring!
