I’m working on a new blog post. I know I haven’t written anything serious in a while, and I have no real excuse.
This year I’m doing something different from my annual Christmas posts.

As I sat with my two-year-old Granddaughter outside, she wanted to play with bubbles. As I opened the bottle, I could see the gleam in her eye and the anticipation of what was to come.
As I started blowing the bubbles, she laughed and giggled, all while running after them to pop whatever she could. Shortly after that she turned to me and said, “I can do it”.
I gave her the bottle, she pulled out the stick and tried to blow on it. Tiny bubbles started to form and out they came. One by one, and two by two, off they went flying away.
To watch this child be some happy made me wonder, as adults when did we stop blowing bubbles?
The simple act of blowing a simple bubble even gave me a small bit of joy. When I asked her why she liked the bubbles so much, she replied “They’re fun”. That’s it| A simple answer.
Maybe as we grow into adults, we forget about the simple things in life that make us happy?

My father Rev. Frank R. Agnew passed away on August 27, 1993.

Dear Readers;
I want to apologize for not writing in such a long time.
I guess one could say that I’m kind of stuck in a rutt.
With the past year’s events including life happenings, I guess I felt that I had no direction.
How can I write about things that are meaningful if I myself don’t believe in what I’m writing.
I feel that I’ve lost my real purpose in life. After twenty nine years in the medical field as a Respiratory Therapist and loosing yet another Job (just over broke) what does an over fifty year old person do?
My husband has had many health challenges these past six years so just juggling work and helping him has been challenging.
I know I will prevail and figure things out. Keep pushing forward that’s my motto.
