Welcome! REVAMPED!

Welcome to my blog.

Here you will find tips, encouragement and learn how to master your network marketing/MLM business .

We all struggle with getting leads.  How many people can one person talk to from their contact list, work list and whatever else list?

Let me help you become a success in your business!

12-23-15

Today as I look back on when I started this writing journey, I find myself thinking “Have I really written all of these articles “?

Yes, yes I have. My goal when I started this blog was to hopefully inspire my readers, to offer a different look at the way things are being done in the network marketing community.

Is there a standard?

I have been involved in the network marketing industry on and off for years. I’ve represented some companies that I’m sure you’re very aware of. Was I successful in these companies?
How is success defined? Was I able to sell the products, recruit others into the business?
While the companies I represented have been in the industry for a while now nothing ever clicked.

Everyone has basically the same thing. A product(s), a compensation plan, training and other perks. How can anyone become a professional in the business?

Work smarter than others, keep doing it until you achieve your goals. If it takes 10,000 hours to becomes great at something then maybe, just maybe we can achieve the success we seek in a shorter time if we work together.

Gain The Advantage!

Repurposing Content

Repurposing your content is easy.

For example;  I created this video earlier this year.   Now I am “repurposing” it to incorporate it into my blog post.

In this video I talk about comparing a double rainbow and business.   Be an example for other’s to follow,  make good on your promises to others.

Just because you write a blog, make a video, create a picture for Instagram doesn’t mean that it only can be used for that one purpose.

Creating  ContentWhat inspires you when your creating content for your social media?

Is it a picture, a quote, information to share?  Never be afraid to use the content that you’ve created in more than one place.

When do we become an expert on certain topics?
Does it take days, months even years?  I’ve been told that it takes 10,000 hours to perfect a craft.  That’s seven years.  I don’t want to take seven years.  I want to do it in less time than that!

Together we can Gain The Advantage!

Death Of A Holiday

Winter Solstice, Christmas, Kwanzaa, New Years Eve and oh forget it!!

Too many holidays in one month! I find it harder and harder each year to send out cards, letters and make phone calls. When did it become necessary to make sure that we included every holiday into our belief system? I celebrate Christmas because I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that he came to earth, born as a baby (like we all were), raised as a man and that he suffered on the cross to save us from our sins so that we could be forgiven and enter into a personal relationship with Christ.

I celebrate the Winter Solstice as a way of thanking “Mother Nature” for giving us food from the earth to nourish our bodies.

I celebrate Haunnika because of my beliefs. To thank G_d that he performed a miracle of light from one oil can for eight days and nights.

The other holidays I either don’t celebrate nor do I understand them. Correction I celebrate New Years Eve.

I celebrate the chance at a new beginning, a new year to bring forth prosperity, health and wellness to my family and friends.

Death Of A Holiday could it be possible? Do we celebrate too many of them?

I leave that answer up to you.

Needs Verses Wants

Needs are not wants!

That’s what my mother always told me. I would say, “Mom I need that record”. She would say to me, ” No you really don’t. That is something that you want”.

What is a need? A need is things that we all need to survive. A roof over our head, food, money , companionship, love and health.

I could say, “I need a laptop and a printer, a lot more interested people who want to change the world through this amazing cutting edge technology breakthrough”. However these things are not actual needs. They are my wants, my hearts desires. I desire to have a laptop and printer to run my home business more efficiently. I desire people with the same mindset and values as myself whom want to change the world.

What is a want? A want is just that. You want something so you find a way to make it happen. I want to be debit free, have new home, see my children happy and my grandchildren healthy.

Wanting things are in the human nature. Needing certain things are a necessity in life. We all need food, a warm home to live in, an income to by the food, cook the food and heat the  said.

Whomever said, “Money doesn’t buy happiness” was a true moron! We all need money to live, it’s just that some people have more than others and they can do whatever they want.

You can have your needs meet and your wants can be turned into reality. Dream and dream big.

Enthusiasm!

IMG_20151207_080033

What are you enthusiasts about?

A new business opportunity, Monday night football, your family?   Whatever it is you want to run, jump up and down, yell it from the mountain tops; “Hey world look at this I’m so excited to share it with you”!

Enthusiasm in it’s true form is contagious.  If you really think about it the last time someone was so excited around you, you just had to know why?  Then as they proceeded to tell you, you began to get excited about the same thing.

Do you wake up with enthusiasm about the start of a new day?  Ready to takle on anything the day brings?  Or do you wake up feeling unexcited, gloomy and depressed about yiur your situation?

No matter what happens you’re bound to run into somebody with a contageous and exciting enthusiasm about something.

“Act enthusiastic,  and you’ll be enthusiastic “!

30 Day Challenges

wp-1449258723277.jpegHave you ever done a 30 day challenge?

I recently was researching online about 30 day challenges and found that most of the top challenges are about weight loss or weight management.
There are so many topics that a person can choose from. Blogging, eating, weight loss, sex, fashion and more. Do they really work? It’s said that it takes 30 days to change a bad behavior or to get into “the habit” of doing something different.

http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/510487

James Clear writes in his article titled; “How Long Does It Actually Take to Form a New Habit “. He states “that how society started spreading the common myth it takes 21 days to form a new habit (or 30 days or some other magic number).”

What is the correct number?
On average, it takes more than two months before a new behavior becomes automatic. It takes ….. 66 days to be exact! Habits can be easily formed but don’t limit yourself to a certain time frame.
Each of us have our own way of doing things, and what may take me 30 days may take someone else 15 or 60.

Secondly, you are unique in every way. You strivefor perfection and sometimes you obtain it, and other times you don’t. Don’t treat a failure as a failure. Instead treat it as an accomplishment with needing a better outcome, next time.

Thirdly, make yourself a guideling or chart to go by. Visualeffects can stimulate your mind and get you going into the right direction.

In close, at the end of the day you are responsible for yourself. How you progress is up to you. Before ending the day can you be happy with what you’ve accomplished in your challenge?

Challenge comes in many forms in a daily basis. It’s how we choose to carry out the good or bad behaviors that help us beome the overcomer.

Cyber Monday

Cyber Monday

How did we ever get along from one Christmas to the next without using a computer to shop?

I remember going shopping as a child with my mother.   The sights, the sounds, the wonderful smells and music.   Have we missed something in all the hustle of the internet?  Does shopping online give us the same gratification as it did when we were children?

This year November 2015 retailers took a different approach to the “traditional” black Friday sales and they actually closed their stores, allowing their employees to be a part of their own families celebrations.

To those retailers I applaud you.  REI, Nordstroms, Hobby Lobby and more.  Have the CEO’s of these companies started a new, old trend?

Yes it’s one of the biggest internet shopping days of the year.  And whether you’re at work on your computer surfing the internet, or from your mobile device the fact is your already shopping for somethingor someone to help you build your successful asset.

How can we apply Cyber Monday to being an entrepreneur and networking with other like minded people?   Instead of searching the internet for that one great deal, why not search for other like minded people that maybe in need of someone to help coach them in their business building efforts?   Offer your services to assist them with what they’re lacking .

Are you seeking to learn more about how to become the leader that you want to be?  There are many resources out there in this big cyber world.  How does one know who to go to for help?

Find someone you trust.  That’s it plane and simple.  Your reading tjis right now does it mean that you put your trust in me?  I can’t answer that for you,  you need to be the one to answer that question.

I don’t claim to be an expert in these matters; however I am on a journey just as you are to find the solution to gain followers,  attract others to my main mlm business and as always gain the advantage!

Thanksgiving

Of course everyone is blogging about what they are thankful, or grateful for on Thanksgiving.

We have all been taught that this is the day the Pilgrims and the Indians sat down to give thanks for everything that was produced in the harvest that year. However it makes me wonder were the Indians really that happy to share a meal with the Pilgrams?
If one stops to think about the time back then is this were sharing, caring, gratitude and loving thy neighbor was started? Or before or after the holiday is this were racism truly started in America?

Yes I know what your thinking; “Why on today of all days is she saying that word”? Racism, Hate, Teasing, Uncompassion for our fellow men is this one time where it started in America?

When we don’t understand why or how someone is different from us, then the thoughts of racism are stirring up inside of our minds and it’s up to us if we act upon those thoughts. I am saying all this to make you think. Think about how people treat or treated you when they find out that YOU are an ENTREPRENEUR a NETWORK MARKETER. Were they excited? Did they jump for joy, hug you and say that they have been waiting to hear more from a network marketer ? My guess is probably not.

Entrepreneurs and Network Marketer’s have made this country great!! Yes we are looked down upon by certain groups and people in society. If Steve Jobs had listened to other people’s hateful, rude remarks telling him to “Go Get A Real Job”, would we have Apple Computer’s? What if Alexander Graham Bell stopped trying with all his inventions and just listened to other people about how stupid he was for never giving up? Would we have the telephone today? I’m not sure about the answers to these questions; however I do know that the answer is I AM SO THANKFUL THAT ALL OF THE PREVIOUS INVENTORS, ENTREPRENEUR’S who never quit!! Ignored all the haters and nay sayers to build this country from the ground up!

From the lumber jacks, the blacksmiths, the steele mill workers, iron workers, minors, blue collar worker’s, I say “THANK YOU ” FOR YOU AND MANY OTHERS ARE FROM THE BACKBONE, BARE ROOTS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! !

Yes now we have advanced technologies to communicate with other people all over the world. What will happen next?

What if we took EVERYDAY to be thankful for thingsin our lives instead of one day, one month out of the year?

I send blessings of peace, joy, health, wealth and happiness to you all. May God bless you and may GOD continue to bless AMERICA!

That’s It!

That’s it, I’m done with all this “network marketing” junk!

Family, friends, co workers they all let me down. No one believes me anyway so I might as well be done! I’m just going to stay here in my comfortable little world and be miserable along with everyone else I know.

Sound familiar?

Working outside one’s comfort zone is hard. Without the proper support from other’s in network marketing, having a positive mindset and not seeing any results makes it hard to stay in this industry.

Are you aware that the “Network Marketing” industry is responsible for $182,000,000,000.00 in the world?

No one can tell me that this industry doesn’t pay. Does your industry allow you to trade dimes for time? Work when and how hard you want? Does it reward you for achieving certain levels in the company? Gone are the days of bonuses just because you’ve done a great job. Even Christmas bonuses, Christmas parties, oh no I didn’t just say Christmas? Yes I did! Holiday parties is not the way I was raised and I’m not going to conform to the political correctness today’s society.

With being a professional networking marketer we are recognized for achieving certain levels, working hard and appreciation is a given.

Done? No I’m not done I’m just getting started! In the words of Katy Perry, “Your gonna hear me roar, roar, roar”!

Irritated!

Are you as bombarded with bogus inquiries on line about your ‘business opportunity”?

Sometimes I think people are just board on the internet and this is the new; “ring the doorbell and run” prank that we used to play as kids to homeowners.

Sometimes you can tell when there is a fake lead from your auto responder and sometimes you can’t. (Example, Name: OJ Huxtable, Phone: 888-515-5555, Email wantoj@gmail.com). Now really is this for real? I think not. I wouldn’t even attempt to waste my time or energy to even pursue this as a credible business partner let alone a lead!

Let’s discuss what makes a credible lead? Name, Phone Number, Email all these can be fake, phony, no good, and so on. How do you tell if it is credible?

The best advice I can give:

What about the name. Does it seem somewhat normal? (Joe, Jim, Candy, Amanda) I think you get the picture.

What about the phone number?

If you have a list of area codes for the United States that’s not to hard to figure out. A great site for information is All Area Codes.com ( All Area Codes. Com ).

What about the email address?

Bogus email addresses are used more then they are less and with identity theft as big as it is; people are scared to even leave a good email address to contact them at. Are you protecting your identity? Do you use a system such as Legal Shield’s Identity Theft Program? Contact Anita Corrigan at Anita Corrigan Legal Shield. Or do you use Life Lock? Life Lock Of course there are other’s but these are the only two the are recommended by Donald Trump!! (No politics here but he is a great business man).

Well than what’s the answer?

Be wise and go with your “gut” instincts. The gut never lies! It’s pretty easy to tell a real serious interested client than someone just playing jokes on you. Is there a simple solution to the problem? YES!

Protect Yourself

  • Encrypt a current email address: Another way to protect your email privacy is to use Thunderbird with Enigmail; Mac Mail with GPGTools; Outlook with GPG4Win. These tools allow you to encrypt a current email address and offer a suite of security enhancements to ensure that your data is being protected. Warning: these tools require some tech-savvy and can be tough to figure out.
  • Use a secure email provider! There are a number of email providers that have a model for providing top-notch security for free or for a nominal fee. The following tools provide a secure VPN for all internet browsing, a USB-key necessary email entry, and free email protection for your smartphone (iOS or Android) respectively: Unspyable, Countermail, stop spam email and Shazzle.
  • Filter your spam (and keep your favorite inbox) If you are one of the many email users who doesn’t enjoy having a full inbox, especially one chock full of spam, you can create various filters to put particular emails into different inboxes. According to The Online Privacy Blog The Online Privacy Blog (In our survey, 39% of people say they set up filters in their email to automatically delete and stop spam. This technique is not only helpful for keeping spam out, but also keeping track of important emails (like bills). Most times, the ability to create filters is located in your email client’s “settings” menu, and the filters can be created based on specific words, addresses, subject lines, groups of people, and many other criteria. This is a nice stop gap solution to stop spam from getting to your inbox. )
  • Unsubscribe Even if the techniques above seem like too much effort, at the very least, unsubscribe from the emails that simply stuff your inbox. Most marketing emails that you find are just sent far too frequently will have an option at the bottom saying something like “Unsubscribe” or “Remove Me.”Clicking “Unsubscribe” usually takes you to an external website that lets you unsubscribe from receiving any further email from that particular sender. Make sure you click the option that completely removes you and doesn’t just limit emails.

Unsubscribing is one of the easiest ways to cut down the amount of spam entering your inbox on a daily basis, and over half of those we surveyed–51%–report unsubscribing to deal with spam.

Irritating as it may be solutions to the problems always exists.

As Always,

Gain The Advantage!
