Merriam – Webster defines the word sometimes as an adverb, meaning at times, now and then or occasionally.
Sometimes I really want to work for myself and answer to no one else but me. Other times, I’m stuck in the vortex of having a nine to five and doing what I’m asked to do. I’ve tried Network Marketing with many different companies. Unfortunately for me, they all ended up a bust.
So what’s an alternative choice?
I wrote a book titled, “Terror In The North Tower” which I am very proud of for my accomplishment. Due to financial reasons, I chose to self-publish my book. I will admit that I haven’t been very great about promoting it and really hitting a high sales goal.
I will never forget the feeling I had when the book was shipped to me. I was so excited to see the actual words in print! I haven’t had too many sales since 2016. I blame myself for not digging in and making it a priority.
However, I’m more determined at this point in my life to start promoting it more and work on writing the sequel to it. Many people have asked me, “Alicia, why haven’t you written the second part of your book”? I I have no excuses. I just haven’t sat down to start writing it.

The answer I would hope is to help others succeed with whatever they are trying to achieve. Some mentors just believe that they are truly helping people and want to see them succeed.
Find the teacher who has achieved what you want. No matter what you’re trying to accomplish a good mentor can assist you with getting the results.
Check out more than one person. Some people just don’t click. Just because one person said, “Hey how are you, I can mentor you”, doesn’t mean they are the right fit for you. Be persistent in your search for the right mentors. If your mentor isn’t open and communicating with you after several attempts go find someone else that is willing to take the time to appreciate you and your goals.
Be Prepared
Be teachable! There is nothing worse than someone who says they want help from a mentor and then they aren’t willing to do what it takes to achieve their main goals.
Be willing to try over and over again if that‘s what it takes to create your visions and dreams into a reality.
Offer value to the person you want to mentor you. Show them that you are teachable, willing to work together in a partnership, and learn from them.

How was I going to improve upon what I started? Searching and searching the internet is confusing, and overwhelming to say the least. During my search I found a little community called MLSP My Lead System Pro which lead me to eventually meet a community called the Power Affiliate Club. Yes I write about PAC a lot. Action Creates Learning
Taking the actions necessary to become a better writer, author and presenter has led me to where I am today, an expert Power Affiliate Club Author. Looking back over the last three years, I have looked at my articles from when I combined my two blogs. Honestly I now see the major difference in my tenacious appetite to become the best.
I had to learn how to make words flow together, to include images, improve my blog site by adding more content for readers to view and hopefully interact.

Necessary Steps
Finding the necessary steps to my journey started with a thought. Searching throughout the world-wide web for answers. Being teachable, willing to learn and implementing those concepts and ideas.
Becoming more involved with the blogging community, reading positive mindset books, listening to CD’s. Basically doing anything to improve my mindset as well as my blogging skills. When a person does the investigating and implementing then a true learning curve can begin.
These are the actions that I took necessary to achieve my goal to become a writer and blogger.
