My Top 3 Father’s Day Gift Ideas For 2021

My father Rev. Frank R. Agnew passed away on August 27, 1993.

I used to love watching him play the piano, sing and preach. He was loving, giving and when I had my children he was an awesome Grandfather. With Father’s Day fast approaching I thought I would share my top three picks that I think are great gifts for great Dad’s.

Number 3

Root Beer Science Kit by DYI Brewery. I realize that not every man drinks beer or alcohol. Here’s an alternative to give the best man in your life.

At just $16.00 I think it’s a great deal and a way to make some memories with Dad.

Number 2

This Members Mark Sam’s Club 4 Burner Gas Grill is user friendly and priced at just $399.00 it’s a grill of a deal.

I will be getting this for my husband this year. His friend bought one and my husband really likes it.

Death Of A Holiday

Winter Solstice, Christmas, Kwanzaa, New Years Eve and oh forget it!!

Too many holidays in one month! I find it harder and harder each year to send out cards, letters and make phone calls. When did it become necessary to make sure that we included every holiday into our belief system? I celebrate Christmas because I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that he came to earth, born as a baby (like we all were), raised as a man and that he suffered on the cross to save us from our sins so that we could be forgiven and enter into a personal relationship with Christ.

I celebrate the Winter Solstice as a way of thanking “Mother Nature” for giving us food from the earth to nourish our bodies.

I celebrate Haunnika because of my beliefs. To thank G_d that he performed a miracle of light from one oil can for eight days and nights.

The other holidays I either don’t celebrate nor do I understand them. Correction I celebrate New Years Eve.

I celebrate the chance at a new beginning, a new year to bring forth prosperity, health and wellness to my family and friends.

Death Of A Holiday could it be possible? Do we celebrate too many of them?

I leave that answer up to you.
