Are You Driving Traffic To Your Blog Or Sitting In A Traffic Jam?

I’ve been blogging for over three years now.  It wasn’t until a year ago that I started to become more serious. Getting noticed was hard.  Was it the content in my articles?  Was it the boaring words putting potential new readers to sleep?

Pinpointing the problems wasn’t easy as a new blogger until I found a group called the Power Affiliate Club Becoming A PAC Expert Author has given me the opportunities to explore more topics, gain a better understanding of using certain techniques to gain more followers.

An article by PAC Founder and Expert Author Lesly Frederic, RN It’s Not Enough To Just Have A Blog brings things into focus for writing your blog.  In it she writes;

You Already Have An Audience

Surround yourself with the audience you develop because they like you and LIKE your personality.

I’ve learned alot from Lesly Frederic and the Power Affiliate Club authors and social media communities. Plugging into other blogging communities has changed my perspective on using long tail keywords as explained in this article by Robin Khokhar.  Another blogger who is making a difference.

Plugging In

Plug yourself into other writing social media groups.  I know I talk alot about PAC, I must because of know one spreads the word how can a community grow.

Another group is the Blogging Syndication Tribe on Facebook.

This is a closed group and you must ask to join.

In closing seek those who want to see you achieve success.  Hang with like minded people.  You’re not going to be liked by everyone.  I’m not liked by everyone.  That’s alright with me!

I’d rather attract traffic to my site with people seeking to be coached infamy areas then be the top and biggest thing on the internet.

Has this post helped you?

Striking Up Conversations Form Business Alliances

Oh My Gosh!   Here is it week number five of the PAC Blogging Carnival.

pac.blogging.carnival.6.15.2016

I have never had a problem talking to people.  You could consider me being a social butterfly.  I love to move around the room at a party or get together and meet and greet people.  Connecting with people is fascinating to me .  Finding out where they’re from, what they do, how much did she pay for those shoes all goes through my mind.  Getting the first word in gives me an edge on building a trusting relationship, if even only for a few minutes.

Once I made up my mind to become a serious blogger I started making connections with other bloggers who shared the same values, provided their readers with integrity and honest articles.

One of my  PAC fellow authors Barrie Evans writes about developing alliances and value with cooperation in business.  Relationships help us to build a solid  foundation in our business practices.

Sometimes I myself forget that I too am able to obtain all of my goals.  Meeting and connecting with the Power Affiliate Club has given me a new edge on blogging and learning from some of the best in the business.

For Example

Claudia Peevy is great with showing others attraction marketing.  Check out her site I think you will be impressed.

Emi Koulev I really admire her style of writing. Recently she published her first book The Cake Decorating Series Of Sugarcraft is informative and gives great details into working with fondant and cake decorating.

Building these relationships has been fun and exciting for me.  I am meeting new people from all walks of life.  I haven’t met each one of the personally and who knows if I ever will, the one thing I can testify to is that because of building these alliances I am becoming a better communicator, writer and friend.

I cherish each and every person I meet along the way. Listening, smiling and taking advice as well as dishing it out.  My journey is still on going and I am by far an expert on blogging.  Continue to read on with me and I write away to new things.

GAIN THE ADVANTAGE!

Learning To Take Actions

images

Three years ago I decided to start blogging more seriously about internet marketing, entrepreneurship, being an independent business owner and some things about life.

Decisions

Making a decision to change a technique, business ventures, careers or anything takes action. Deciding to become  a series blogger,  one of the first steps I took was to search the internet for blogs and blogging advice.

According to WordPress.com  How many posts are being published?  (There are about 58.3 million new posts and 43.8 million new comments each month). MIND BLOWING!

My Improvements

How was I going to improve upon what I started?   Searching and searching the internet is confusing, and overwhelming to say the least.  During my search I found a little community called MLSP My Lead System Pro which lead me to eventually meet a community called the Power Affiliate Club.   Yes I write about PAC a lot.  Search my blog and you will understand why.  PAC’s Infectious Mission

Action Creates Learning

Taking the actions necessary to become a better writer, author and presenter has led me to where I am today, an expert Power Affiliate Club Author. Looking back over the last three years, I have looked at my articles from when I combined my two blogs.  Honestly I now see the major difference in my tenacious appetite to become the best.

I had to learn how to make words flow together, to include images, improve my blog site by adding more content for readers to view and hopefully interact.

When  you consider the  fact that there are over 58.3 million new blog posts a month and over 43.8 million views, how can a blogger survive?

Necessary Steps

Finding the necessary steps to my journey started with a thought.  Searching throughout the world-wide web for answers.  Being teachable, willing to learn and implementing those concepts and ideas.

Becoming more involved with the blogging community, reading positive mindset books, listening to CD’s.  Basically doing anything to improve my mindset as well as my blogging skills. When a person does the  investigating and implementing then a true learning curve can begin.

These are the actions that I took necessary to achieve my goal to become a writer and blogger.

A  picture is worth a thousand words …

We’ve all heard that saying before.  However, is it true when it comes to writing your blog?

Pictures tell stories …

Images bring a certain essence to what the writer is trying to convey to their readers.

Articles with images get 94% more views.  Visual stimulation grabs the reader’s attention and draws them into the article.  A large percentage of the brain is dedicated to visual processing.  When we see a picture we analyze it within a very short period of time, knowing the meaning and scenario within it immediately.

Five Reasons to Consider Using Pictures

  1. Pictures grab the reader’s attention and helps them commit to reading the content.
  2. Rests the eyes from reading.
  3. Gives your readers a memorable experience.
  4. Images communicate information to readers faster than words.
  5. Images add VALUE!  They add valuable SEO (search engine optimization) traffic to your site because the images displayed in search results relate to the images within your blog post.

SEO-1024x683

SEO  (Search Engine Optimization), is the process of generating traffic through keyword searches by people seeking a particular topic.

Images are easy to find and use. Using your own images are best because of copyright laws.  Obtaining images for your site gives that personal touch and flare to your website.

5 Sites For Picture Images

Flickr  this site is owned by Yahoo.com. Flickr offers 1,000 GB of free photo storage.  They will help you automatically backup your entire collection.

PicsArt  allows you the ability to edit photos, share and store them.

Free images  provides over 2.4 billion pictures you can use (some you can use for a small fee.

Public Domain  (PublicDomainPictures.net) is a repository for free public domain images. Download high quality – HD photos or upload your own. Make money from your hobby, gain popularity and improve your photographic and graphic skills.

Lastly you can always use Google Search Engine  . Just be careful as you search not to use copyrighted pictures without permission.

PicsArt is a great application to use for editing and adding quotes and your own signature to your images. It’s easy and convenient for you to use.

Some audiences prefer to view written content then visual images. Some audiences are interested in more visual images then written content, and that’s okay.

Both styles assist the reader in offering both quality and value. Work on improving your skills, and don’t be afraid to get help from an outside professional who can give your blog the extra sprucing up it lacks.  What is the goal that you’re trying to achieve with your audience?

There are many ways to engage with your readers. Images and writing – the most valuable type of content driving marketers to use.

Imagine  the photographs in your mind, then search for the right one which will add meaning to your article.  Colorful photographs such as red, yellow,  purple draw more attention to your readers eyes.

Be creative

Don’t be afraid to let your creativity flow in your posting and keep the images coming.

I Wrote A Book

image

The journey that led me to write comes from a deep passion for reading and writing.

I started writing this book in 2011 after getting laid off from my job with a DME (Durable Medical Equipment ) company after twenty-something years in the medical field as a licensed respiratory therapist.

What does a respiratory therapist do?

Respiratory Therapists are important to patients that have trouble breathing. Lung diseases like Asthma, Emphysema, and COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) just to name a few. The main responsibilities are to keep patients breathing. They perform anything from a nebulizer treatment to administering a Bipap or CPAP therapy, as a major part of a person’s care in the intensive care unit.

Now, where was I? Oh, that’s right I was telling you about my journey to writing my first book, Terror In The North Tower. One day I sat down and just started typing on the computer. Words just seemed to flow onto the page. Then after about six months, they stopped. All in all, it took me a year to write this work of art. The writing wasn’t that hard, it was finding a publisher I could afford.

Publishers cost money!

Zondervan and Xulon Press are just a few that I checked into. They both said; “Oh yes, we can help you publish your book but it’s going to cost $$$ dollars”. I didn’t have that kind of money? Finally, after four years I had the opportunity to meet Monna Ellithorpe. She’s a member and co-founder of the Power Affiliate Club PAC and a published author herself.

What an amazing experience it has been working with the  Kindle platform.

What’s the book about?

It’s science fiction, murder mystery, and love story with a twist that the readers won’t see coming. This story’s main theme is about a respiratory therapist in a hospital setting. Many books like this one are written by a doctor or nurse, never by a respiratory therapist.

Now I want to make something very clear. This fictional thriller is just that. Fiction!!!

I love my profession as well as my peers. And the men and women that have a passion for it also.

***Terror In The North Tower was released on Saturday, May 28, 2016. Purchase the book here.

I hope that the person reading this blog post will order the book, read it, share this article, and spread the word.

Gain The Advantage!
